The Triple DES standard
3DES was designed to better provide a safeguard against identity theft, which is unfortunately becoming more common in today’s society.
Most ATM's manufactured prior to 2005 will need to be TDES upgraded, or replaced entirely, with a new ATM that is Triple DES compliant. In most circumstances, this will be a costly upgrade ($300 - $1000, depending on your ATM model).
However, Plastech Solutions can offer you a significant discount, or in some cases, a FREE Triple DES Upgrade of your existing Cross, Triton, Tidel, Hyosung, or Tranax brand ATM machine.
